The unsettled weather will continue Saturday with areas of snow. Snow accumulations will stay light. Highs will be in the mid to low 30s.
Our next weather maker will begin to impact the region on Sunday. Moderate to heavy snow will impact travel over many mountain passes. Valleys could see 1 to 3 inches of accumulation.
WINTER STORM WATCH is in effect Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon for the West Glacier and Lower Clark Fork Regions, Clearwater, Bitterroot and Sapphire Mountains. 4 to 8 inches of accumulation will be possible, as well as wind gusts between 35 and 40 mph. Travel will be especially difficult in these areas.
